My Story
From an early age, music has always been a driving force in my life. after graduating Skidmore College '13 with degrees in both music and Business Management & Administration, I moved to New York City with my guitar and a dream to work in the music industry, but to what extent I had no idea.
Success did not come overnight– but I remained dedicated to the path nonetheless. Busking in Coney Island as well as working a slew of internships and odd jobs that all seemingly led no where...
My first real break came from a carpentry gig which led to an opportunity to build a recording studio in LIC– Within the year I had become the lead engineer in that very same studio. Before I knew it, I was working with artists such as "Captain" Kirk Douglas (The Roots), Binky Griptite (Amy Winehouse), as well as nearly every artist featured on SmallsLIVE Record Label, amongst many others. All the while, I was also cutting my teeth in the live sound arena, engineering wedding bands and corporate conferences.
Then came Covid, The music industry collapsed overnight, with the recording industry being especially hit hard. I knew I needed to pivot yet again, and that's when I decided to focus on Live Sound Engineering. It started with a weekly outdoor comedy show hosted by Michael Che (SNL)
